About Us

Widmer End United Junior FC is a FA Charter Standard Club located in Widmer End near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. We are a family focused junior football club with an emphasis on enjoyment and participation for all.

We’re affiliated to the Berks & Bucks FA and have over 180 children playing in our teams, aged from 5 (Reception) to 16 years old (Year 11) playing in the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference and the Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football Leagues. The club is especially proud of its managers and coaches who have all been trained by the FA to at least level 1 coaching standard, have First Aid qualifications and have the necessary Child Protection clearance.

We attract players not only from Widmer End but also Hazlemere, Holmer Green, Totteridge, Great Kingshill and further afield. New members of all abilities are always welcome. If you would like to join, the best way is to make contact with your age group manager, whose details can be found on our Teams page. They will be pleased to hear from you.

FA Charter Status

Widmer End United Junior Football club was awarded FA Charter Status in Spring 2006. We are very proud of this achievement as we were one of the first clubs in the region to be recognised in this way. This award provides parents and players with a level of assurance that the club has appropriate policies and procedures that are inline with FA guidance.

It is important to remember that the award recognises the efforts of a whole range of volunteers that make up the club. These individuals give their time, energy, motivation and experience willingly to help get the best from all the players.

The FA Charter Standard Clubs programme, supported by FA Community Partner McDonald's, was launched in February 2001 and is a core component of The FA Football Development programme.

The project is aimed at boys and girls under sixteen years old and will help children and parents find a club in their local area that meets FA standards.
