Under 11's Widmer End United under 11's play in Division 1 of the Bucks Free Press Junior Football League (formally known as Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League). We have an enthusiastic and talented squad who all take an active part in the matches we play. As well as playing in the league the team is entered into the League Cup and will play in tournaments at the end of the league season.
The aim of the under 11 team is to continue to develop and improve as a squad by placing emphasis on key skills, teamwork and understanding of the game. Fitness is achieved by high tempo training sessions that are hard work but fun. Team selection is based on performance and attitude during matches and also at training. The team is coached by Lee Caudrey, an FA qualified coach assisted by Graham Keating. Contact the Under 11's Manager... League home games are played at Four Ashes, (Location...) Widmer End where we have an excellent pitch on which to play good football. Matches are on Sundays. The season runs from September to May with weekly training sessions held at Four Ashes, Widmer End on Saturdays (from 09:30am to 11:00am). The League season runs from September to May. |
